The Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 is an act that was enacted in 1955 but at that time there were only Hindus and Muslims. It now includes Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsi minorities who migrate to India due to religious persecution in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan and there is a provision to grant citizenship of India to these people through the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. But in this bill (the citizenship amendment bill all about), since 31Dec 2014, Muslims come from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will not be given citizenship of India, due to which such violent demonstrations are taking place across the country.

Violent Protests Against The Citizenship Amendment Bill In India 2019

Violent protests started in these states from Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi and along with which there was a protest in a non-violent and peaceful manner. In violent demonstrations, miscreants have damaged government properties including buses, trains, government college property, private vehicles, etc.

India is a democratic country and every person in this country has been given the right to register their protest peacefully. There are some violent elements in India due to which the environment of the country is deteriorating and it is being discussed all over the world. Some media houses say that Anti-Bjp is opposing this bill because they have got a chance to violently protest against BJP by creating an atmosphere of fear in the country and withdraw this bill from it.

Indian Home Minister Amit Shah has said strongly in Parliament that the law of this bill will be made, whether you are against this bill or not. When such violent demonstrations take place in any country, the security forces there have to take drastic measures and many people are physically injured and even die due to this step, I believe mine that we should not perform like this and we should stay away from it because the loss is ours.
